Hello folks. My name is Heidi Swain and I am an author who writes feel good fiction with heart for Simon and Schuster. I also write short stories which you will see popping up in newspapers and magazines from time to time. I am represented by Amanda Preston from LBA.
I live in a small village south of the fabulous city of Norwich. In 2012 Norwich became England’s first UNESCO City of Literature and I can’t imagine living anywhere else however, before settling in Norfolk my travels took me to counties up and down the UK including Cambridgeshire, Essex, Dorset and Aberdeenshire.
My Big Writing Break came courtesy of Books and The City, the digital imprint of Simon and Schuster, who run a oneday call for unsolicited submissions every year. The Cherry Tree Café was selected in 2014, published almost a year to the day later and I haven’t stopped writing since!
