The best yet
I read this book in just a few hours, I could not put it down. I'm afraid I'm one of these who if I like the cover I know i will like the book, I didn't just like this book I loved it!
Heidi has the amazing ability of bringing everything to life, it was just like the whole book was playing out in my head, like I was an invisible eavesdropper, if an author can make that happen to me I know they are good.
All the characters were strong and likeable and there was no weak parts in the book.
Keep up the good work Heidi, can't wait to read more from you.

Fabulous story
A sure sign of a cracking read for me, is if I miss the characters and setting when I finish the book, and today I find myself doing just that about the wonderful people and places of Summer at Skylark Farm. Heidi Swain's second novel is wonderfully written, funny, emotional and full of quirky characters that jump off the page. I'm looking forward to her next novel.

If you want a perfect book to read on your hols

If you want a perfect book to read on your hols, this is it. Escape to the depths of the countryside (just like Amber) and get lost in the trials and tribulations of the lovely folk of Wynbridge. Heidi writes just what you need to read: there's excitement, humour, cliff-hangers and a bitchy ex- girlfriend we really don't trust even when she's being 'nice'. It was great to spend time with the characters from The Cherry Tree Café again and I really can't wait for her next book to see what else they get up to.
