A Christmas Celebration

A Christmas Celebration by the Sunday Times bestselling author Heidi Swain

RNA Popular Romantic Novel Award Winner 2023. Heidi Swain for A Christmas Celebration.

When Paige turns up unannounced at Wynthorpe Hall, she discovers the place she knew when she was growing up has changed beyond all recognition.

She’s only planning to stay for a short time, but is quickly pulled into local life.

One night while driving home after delivering library books and shopping to residents she stumbles across an isolated cottage and meets Albert, its elderly and rather grumpy owner. She quickly realises there’s more to Albert than meets the eye and the same can be said for the other man she can’t seem to help running into, handsome but brooding Brodie.

All three of them have a secret and a desire to hide away from the world, but with Christmas on the horizon, is that really the best way to celebrate the season?

Being back at Wynthorpe Hall is totally magical, it's the one place we all have to go for Christmas can highly recommend and praise this fabulous book. Jeanie Mckinlay

A cosy cup of Christmas cheer!

A Christmas Celebration by Heidi Swain is like climbing into a bottomless box of Christmas presents! This book just keeps on giving, in the loveliest way! laineyf

A real celebration of Christmas
It wouldn't be Christmas without a trip to Wynthorpe Hall easily one of the most festive places in fiction. I absolutely adored catching up with the Connelly clan, seeing what ideas Angus may have to make Christmas even better than the previous amazing years, and to meet some wonderful new characters too.
I also loved every single second of this lovely heart warming book, that I just couldn't get enough of. I love this author so much and she always writes such marvellous stories, that I have to keep coming back for more and more. Gilbster

Great Christmas fiction

Heidi Swain is one of the best authors of Christmas fiction - fact. Another enjoyable Christmas tale with lovable characters with one in particular who will grab your heart - just adorable! Looking forward to next year's book already. Aileen C
As comforting as one of Heidi’s delicious winter crumbles smothered with custard.
I have read and loved every one of Heidi Swain's books and this one was just perfect for a cosy evening curled up in front of a warm fire or at least wrapped up in a cosy blanket with a candle as I'm refusing to put put my heating on this winter. Sincerely Book Angels

A Christmas treat of a book

It was so lovely to be back at Wynthorpe Hall with Heidi Swain. A Christmas Celebration felt like a total treat in book form. I do think, however, that Heidi Swain’s books should come with a warning. I’ve read so many that I ought to be used to it by now, but I swear I put on half a stone just reading her glorious descriptions of food. She has the ability to make me ravenous as I read. Loved it
Lovely to be back in Wynthorpe Hall. Can be read on its own. The main character Paige had lived an interesting life and was at a turning point when she goes to stay with her god father and family . Nice to be back with characters you know.. Set in a lovely part of the country. I loved how Paige helped Albert and how Bran the dog helped her. A beautiful story. Made you feel happy inside. Loved it. A good ending. Rosamond C

Magical festive read

A Christmas Celebration is not just about the festive season, it is about family, friends, and the magic that surrounds Wynthorpe Hall.
I love going back to re visit the characters from Heidi’s previous books as she cleverly weaves them into this latest noel with such joy. I especially enjoyed Winter Wonderland, an annual event put on by the Connelly family in the beautiful grounds of the Hall, much to the delight of the community. Julie Williams
Message of the year

A Cracking Christmas book!
A fabulous festive trip back to one of my favourite book locations, Wynthorpe Hall, rejoining the remarkable Connelly clan in the build up to Christmas.
This time we are meeting Paige, the God Daughter to Angus and Catherine, who has come to the Hall under a dark cloud and feeling guilty about something that occurred in her previous job.
Soon the community lifts her spirits, and a chance discovery brings her some much needed positivity and the opportunity to move on from her troubles. An unexpected run in with the handsome Brodie also gives her much to think about too. Can he heal her heart, and can love bloom in the midwinter? Sue Baker
