The thing I hate about Heidi Swain’s books is finishing them. This latest book is sooo good. I have read most of her books and enjoyed every one, but this latest one, in my opinion, is one of her best I could not put it down. It is so well written you tend to think you personally know the characters. I’m devastated I’ve finished this book but am so looking forward to her next one. chrisp

Perfect to curl up with on a cold day
After reading The Secret Seaside Escape I couldn’t wait to come back to the beautiful village of Wynmouth with its gorgeous beach and wonderful community spirit. Whilst the book mostly takes place away from the village, there were still a few visits into town and to the beach and some familiar faces made an appearance too. The book had a wonderfully Christmassy feel; you can’t get more Christmassy than a Christmas Tree farm, a lodge with a roaring fire and a Husky! Throw in Heidi’s trademark community spirit with some family traditions and some Yuletide romance and you’ve got the ultimate feel good Christmas book. Rebecca

Fabulous festive read!
Nobody writes a Christmas book quite like Heidi.
She creates beautiful locations that leave me wishing I could live there myself and interesting, likeable lead characters that you always find yourself rooting for throughout.
This story was set in Wynmouth, which has featured previously in The Secret Seaside Escape, but Wynter's Trees is set on the outskirts so it was a new, fantastic place to learn about, filled to the brim with a fabulous bunch of fresh people to get to know. Emma E

WOW WOW WOW ...... this book was amazing, the characters are so real and I really felt I was there, Heidi's writing is FABULOUS, she never fails to hit the mark, we can now enjoy the build up to Christmas we have had our Heidi fix ......... the only down side is we now have to wait for the next one.
