Home for Christmas

Bella is living her best life in Wynbridge, with her beloved Spaniel, Tink. She’s found a way to keep the house she inherited from her grandparents while expanding her dream business – Away With the Fairies – and she’s ecstatic that Christmas is on the horizon!
In fact, everything is perfect until family friend, Catherine Connelly asks Bella if she’d be willing to rent part of the house to freelance author, Jude who is researching the history of the Connelly Clan and Wynthorpe Hall ahead of turning his findings into a book. The plan had been for Jude to stay at the hall, but he can’t cope with the chaos and Bella reluctantly agrees to open her door to him.
Initially, the pair clash but then friendlier feelings begin to grow and Bella finds herself wondering if Jude could become more than just another guest before it’s time for him to leave. That is, until he announces he has no time for Christmas!
With her favourite time of the year suddenly in jeopardy, will Bella ever feel like she’s home for Christmas?

Perfect Festive read.
Wow what another fantastic book from Heidi Swain. It was fantastic being back at Wynbridge again and seeing the other characters. Heidi's books makes you feel like you are there. I loved the character Bella and her beloved spaniel Tink. If you haven't tried Heidi's books yet, then please do as you will fall in love with them. MRS RL FOWKES

Christmas Immersion at its Best.
These novels work wonderfully as stand alone novels, but there is something magical meeting main characters from previous novels getting little updates as you move theough the Wynbridge series.
I need to be honest and confess I am a complete Heidi Swain fan and the novels bring me an incredible amount of joy. So I realise this may appear a bit much to others; but I feel like crying happy tears when I melt into another Wynbridge novel, especially at Christmas time. I even got a bonus Halloween start to the story, perfect timing or what??
It's easy to assume we know what's going to happen, because we do know, in essence, what's going to happen, but..... But the journey is just so magical. This is my favourite of the Christmas Wynbridge books, the festivities are ramped up to the full, thanks to our Christmas loving protagonist, Bella.
I loved it with my whole jingle bell loving heart, rerurning to Wynbridge, certainly was like coming home for Christmas. Michelle S

One of those perfect Christmas reads - an absolute treat
There are so many books set in the Christmas season (and I eagerly devour as many as I possibly can) – sometimes the festive touches are subtle, sometimes the stories are more about the emotional aspects of the season, some have a bigger share of tinsel and sparkling lights and snowfall than others. Perhaps taking her lead from the Connelly clan at Wynthorpe Hall who really know how to celebrate, Heidi Swain can always be relied on to deliver the whole Christmas experience – and this lovely book really was the complete package, a really engaging and beautifully written story, and everything I could possibly have wanted from a festive read..... Another fab book from Heidi
Oh ladies and gentlemen, she’s done it again… I swear every time I read a book by Heidi I think it’s the best one yet, and that hasn’t stopped with this one. Especially as we’re back at Wynnthorpe Hall which I think has to be my favourite book setting of all. Hannah

Perfect festive story

Oh my goodness, this was just the most beautiful book!
I adore Heidi’s books, especially her festive ones and this one is just perfection!
I love the settings of Wynbridge and Wynthorpe Hall, so to have both places included is a real joy, and the opportunity to meet some wonderful new characters, that fitted into the settings so well was the icing on the (Christmas) cake!
Bella is amazing, I want to be her! Such a fantastic business she has, I’d love to have one of her beautiful fairies for my Christmas tree!
Jude crashing into her life was absolutely thrilling to watch, his attitude to Christmas really caused some issues and it was intriguing to watch them overcome their differences and to gradually become friends. Of course the road to love is never straight forward, and it was captivating to follow their journey through some unexpected events that were thrown at them.
Once again Heidi has captured the spirit of Christmas with this gorgeous story, it was marvellous to meet up with old friends and new ones in these stunning settings - if only Wynthorpe Hall was real, I’d be there for the festive activities in a heartbeat.
Christmas isn’t Christmas without my fix of festive fun and shenanigans from Heidi’s brilliant book characters, and this was everything I had hoped for. Sue Baker

As usual, once I started I just couldn’t stop reading!
I got so immersed in the book it really felt like Christmas was here already. I will certainly be reading it again in December when my house is a little more festive. Dawn

Gorgeous Festive Delight

Much anticipated return to Wynbridge, for Christmas.
The story of Bella and Jude and their polar opposite views about Christmas 🎄
Thank you Heidi for bringing another joyous festive treat our way. It's full of festive cheer and cozy Christmas vibes.
One I'll reread again and again.
Heidi is truly the Queen of a hug in book form. 5 stars isn't enough ✨️ SM83

Perfect for Some Festive Cheer!

Home For Christmas is the perfect read, no matter what trope you're looking for.
It has festive fun, grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, and more!
Bella adores all things Christmas. Jude is a proper Grinch. When they're thrown together, who will have the stronger will?
I really loved how this story played out. I absolutely couldn't wait to be back in Wynbridge with the Connelly clan. It's where I would choose to spend the festive season myself, if I could. It was wonderful being back in the Square at the jolliest time of year.
Before reading this book, I found myself feeling like, and falling for, Jude. I was dreading Christmas for many reasons, but mostly because I lost my wonderful husband on December 16th last year. But being surrounded by Bella's joy is infectious and I'm now raring to deck the halls!
A massive thank you to Heidi for writing the book I didn't know I needed. And thanks to the publishers for sending an arc, and a beautiful finished copy. Trish H
Fantastic
What an absolute treat of a book, I love the setting of Wynbridge and especially Wynthorpe Hall and the Connelly family. Bella loves Christmas and makes beautiful bespoke creations, she has a cute dog Tink.
Jude is not a fan of Christmas at all. When the two end up sharing a house they are in for a few surprises but Christmas is a magical season and there was definitely a hint of magic in this book and I read it in a day as I was so enchanted by the storytelling. Grace Power

Highly Recommended
Absolutely loved this book, Five star plus from me. Set in Wynbridge, a location used many times by Heidi with cameo parts from people from other books.
A standalone book definitely , but also part of the Wynbridge series of books. If you enjoy this book as much as I did you will have plenty of other books to catch up on.
Bella, Jude and Tink the dogs story this time and the community of Wynbridge.
A lovely wintry read, full of Christmas cheer or not in the case of Jude!
Beautifully written characters which come alive to the reader, great storyline, a book I didn’t want to finish.
The perfect Christmas read.
Highly Recommended. Jane B

Warm, comforting read

Oh, I love visiting Wynbridge, especially at Christmas to catch up with old friends and new and to find out if Bella and Jude manage to get their happy ever after. Bella is Christmas mad and Jude doesn't like the season at all so it was interesting to see how they managed that. Heidi's books are warm and comforting without being too mushy and smutty, a perfect Christmas read. Susan Wright
