Heidi Swain
Sunday Times Bestselling Author
I have just finished reading Sleigh bells and silver bells at the Christmas fair and wanted to say a huge thank you for what feels now like the start of the Christmas period.
It only took me a couple of days to finish the book. I waited til the evening and got in to my PJ's and snuggled up in my bed to read your book. I have 2 daughters aged 9 and 11 so going to bed with and reading your book in peace and quiet was bliss.
I looked forward to every evening to snuggle up and immerse myself in Wynbridge Hall and all its inhabitants. I have already read Coming home to Cuckoo cottage and loved that too. I have just bought Mince pies and mistletoe at the Christmas market and know that I will get the lovely Christmas feeling all over again.
Thank you very much for the Christmas tingling in my tummy.

What can I say having read Heidi-jo's 1st Book cherry tree cafe I was totally hooked from day one this amazing lady captures real feeling draws you in and makes you part of the book I loved all her books and following the characters from the quirky little village of wynbridge its been absolutely fabulous to see them all flourish over the years about true friendship and caring in her last book set in spectacular wynthorpe hall I didn't want it to end I felt by the end of the book that I really knew these people especially Anna who turns her life around this book is really all about what Christmas should really be about giving to your nearest and dearest I wish I could give more stars as it's totally outstanding xx

Anna hates the festive season and each year attempts to avoid it. Anna leaves home to become a Nanny/carer/companion. Anna's new position takes her to Wynthorpe Hall in Wynbridge as a carer/companion to Catherine who is recovering from an operation.
On arrival, Anna is thrown into the Christmas festivities which makes her doubt her decision to take the position. The Connelly household is a mix of family and waifs and strays which live under the wing of Angus and Catherine at the hall. Life changes when youngest son Jamie returns from working abroad and has to decide if he takes on the burden of taking over the running of the hall. Jamie and Anna make a pact. Jamie vows to ensure that Anna will love Christmas by the end of her contract and Anna vows to make Jamie fall in love with The Hall and take it over.
This is another fabulous book by Heidi Swain. It was lovely to be reunited with some of the characters from her previous books that live in Wynbridge, (although this is a stand alone book too).
I deliberately took this book slowly as from experience I get totally gripped by the storyline of Heidi Swain's books and finish the book too quickly. I certainly wasn't disappointed by the book. Leaving me with a lovely Christmassy feel.
This book gets a huge thumbs up from me.
